Blogging and BanteCorrCC CCBlogging and Banter with Badger

Hall & Woodhouse, the leading regional brewer, based in Blandford, Dorset, has just launched the new Badger Sett Ale Club, www.badgersettaleclub.co.uk, a new place online to meet and "talk" all things real ale.  With over 60,000 loyal Badger members already, Hall & Woodhouse felt it was time to create a virtual bar, a place to chew the fat about real ale, to debate the latest brews, and as in any great pub, to air views about the world in general!

The new site, which looks strikingly reminiscent of the original Hall & Woodhouse brewery built in 1899 and runs just as smoothly, includes blogs from Toby the Head Brewer and The Badger, a slightly mischievous character who aims to keep everyone entertained with his views on beer, sport and the countryside.  In addition, there will be a number of guest bloggers such as Melissa Cole of Taking the Beard out of Beer fame, Tom Stainer of CAMRA and Pete Brown, Beer Writer of the Year 2009, who will all bring alternative views to the Badger Sett.

For further information please contact Rick Payne, Brands Marketing Manager, Hall & Woodhouse, tel: 01258 452141 or email richard.payne@hall-woodhouse.co.uk.

iamstaggered.com is a website that approaches weddings from the male point of view. It contains all kinds of advice on weddings, including choosing the ring, stag nights etc. The site is primarily aimed at the groom and has sections for the father of the bride and the best man. The core visitor is roughly 20-35 years of age, although editor Andrew Shanahan has also had feedback from brides who seem to like a less girly take on the experience.
